About Donte

I joined Joseph Chris Partners in 2023. After finishing my football career, I got my first recruiting job where I established my skills in recruiting, consulting and sales. I was a key component in hiring the best Java developers in the country. After the whirlwind of the pandemic, I was able to find my footing in a healthcare recruiting company where I served as the Assistant Manager of Talent Acquisition.

There I honed skills in training and onboarding employees, as well as planning and organizing hiring strategies, and delegating responsibilities. All these experiences have molded me to be a strong, open-minded hard worker.

The skills I bring to JCP are enthusiasm: no matter how hard a time we may be having you can always count on me to bring good energy to the team. I have a passion for helping others and seeing them succeed. My dedication doesn't allow me to rest until I reach my goals. With my background in football, I also have extensive knowledge and relationships in the sports and entertainment industry. Three words or phrases I would use to describe myself are: Dedicated, Good listener, Team Player.

I graduated high school in 2009 in the top 10% of my class in Manor, TX. I knew attending Rice University here in Houston would be a big step. I had high aspirations in following in my father's footsteps and becoming an engineer. I quickly realized I was more interested in the other fields. I switched my major over to Sport Management and minored in Political Science. I graduated from Rice University in the spring of 2014. In my free time you may find me at my barn tending to my horses or in the yard working out with my fiancé and two dogs. I love good food, so a date night is something that happens regularly.
